Electrify Bouddi planning day and 2024 wrap-up

On Saturday 14 December, Electrify Bouddi held a planning workshop to commence the process of developing a strategic plan to see the organization through the next three years.

Electrify Bouddi is above all a community organization, and the day was a huge success, with 50 people bringing their vision and ideas for our community to the workshop.

We kicked off with a hope filled and inspiring story of Electrify Bouddi Chair, Mark Ellis’ future vision for Bouddi. Lots of post-it-notes, conversations and presentations later, we have pages of fantastic ideas to move forward with.

NEXT STEPS

We will be circulating a summary of the workshop outcomes shortly, and there will be an opportunity for all members to provide further comments and input to the strategic planning process.

There will be a follow up session from 2 -4 pm on 1 February 2025, to critique and comment on the draft Strategic Plan developed from this first workshop and members feedback. We will communicate further details closer to the date.

The day wasn’t all work. The session was followed by drinks and some delicious food, overlooking the beach on a beautiful Killcare evening, and celebrating the end of a productive year for Electrify Bouddi.

THANK YOU

Firstly thank you to everyone who brought their enthusiasm and ideas to Saturday’s workshop.

We thank Gavin Gilchrist from Inner West Community Energy, for travelling up to the Central Coast to facilitate our workshop.

Thanks to the Killcare Surf Life Saving Club and the lovely bar staff, for hosting the event.

A big thankyou to everyone who volunteered to pull this day together – making posters, publicizing the event, bringing food, organising T shirts, helping run the workshop and all the other tasks involved. It takes a community to organize a successful event.

Thanks to Guy Templeton for taking photos on the day. You can see some of Guy’s photos here.

We wish you all a joyous and sun filled Christmas holiday.
