Electrify Bouddi’s third annual Energy Action Day, held on 30 May 2026, was our best and brightest yet. Under perfect autumn sunshine, more than 200 central coast locals joined us over four hours to explore practical, real‑world ways to cut energy bills, reduce emissions, and take the next step toward an all‑electric future.
From expert advice on home energy upgrades to a bustling carpark filled with the latest electric vehicles, the day was packed with ideas, demonstrations and conversations that helped turn curiosity into confidence.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Killcare Surf Club, Central Coast Community News for their media support, our 13 stallholders, our wonderful entertainers, and of course the hundreds of community members who came along with enthusiasm and great questions.
But the biggest thanks go to our Electrify Bouddi volunteers. Their planning, energy and behind‑the‑scenes work made the day run smoothly and ensured it was welcoming, informative and fun for everyone.
This year, we also ran an on‑the‑day evaluation — and your feedback was overwhelmingly positive. You told us the chance to speak directly with stallholders and experts was especially valuable, and more than 90% of attendees left feeling inspired to make a change. The most popular next steps? Purchasing an EV and installing a home battery.
Energy Action Day continues to show what’s possible when a community comes together with curiosity, optimism and a shared commitment to a cleaner future. Thank you for being part of it.
