Representatives of Electrify Bouddi explained the vital role of community energy initiatives to Chris Bowen, the current Energy Minister, and to Gordon Ryan, our federal MP, at a meeting on 11th April.
Mr Bowen and Dr Reid both endorsed the valuable work undertaken by Electrify Bouddi in assisting households to navigate the energy transition and save money on fuel bills. They were delighted to receive copies of the newsletter, promotional stickers and a T-shirt each and to be the latest in over 200 members of Electrify Bouddi.
The Minister was in the area to attend a function at the Hardys Bay Community Club, where he explained the government’s proposal to cut the cost of household batteries, amongst a range of other initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
