With fuel prices rising, Electrify Bouddi’s Go Solar & Electric Q&A session provided timely information to around 40 attendees eager to learn about how to reduce their energy bills and emissions. It was no surprise that electric cars vehicles proved a popular topic, with residents asking about charging infrastructure, range, and practical everyday use.
A panel of experts fielded a wide range of questions covering everything from solar panels and battery systems to EV charging, insulation and understanding energy bills. These varied between newcomers seeking basic information to homeowners exploring advanced system integrations.
The expert panel included Joe Harvey from Sea Solutions, home assessor Louisa Klopsteins of Van Holland Built Environment, and Electrify Bouddi members Mark Ellis and Deborah Cotter, with Jon Charles moderating.
Feedback from the evening was overwhelmingly positive. Every participant who completed a survey said they were likely or very likely to recommend Electrify Bouddi’s forums to others. Seven attendees also took the opportunity to join Electrify Bouddi as new members, underscoring the group’s role in driving local energy transition efforts.
The event was the latest in a series of regular community forums held at Hardys Bay Club by Electrify Bouddi’s to enable residents to learn from experts and each other as the community moves toward a cleaner, more electric future.
