Solar panel owners and installers in the Central Coast can now recycle end-of-life solar panels responsibly, helping divert waste from landfill while supporting the recovery of valuable materials for future reuse.
Encouraged by Electrify Bouddi, Central Coast Council is piloting local drop-off points in partnership with PV Industries, leaders in the field achieving over 90% material recovery safely. Drop-off points are available here:

For householders replacing their solar panels, make sure to ask your installer to recycle your old panels!
