Solar removes fear of air conditioning cost

“I’d been thinking of getting solar for years but it was only talking to Joe from SEA Solutions at the Electrify Bouddi Launch Party in May 2024 that convinced me to take the plunge” says Cathi from Hardys Bay. “He was so helpful and honest that I asked him on the spot to come and give me a quote.

“He talked through the options with me, and even though I knew I’d have to wait before I had enough money to go ahead, he was fine with that”.

By November, Cathi was ready to go ahead. “The quote was really easy to understand and when I called to book the installation, we arranged a date later the same month.  On the day, Joe showed me photos of the completed work, which was reassuring because I cant see my roof from anywhere – he even checked my gutters for me!”

“I was so impressed that I’ve actually recommended Joe to another friend in McMasters because I just know that he’ll be honest”

“What I’m loving about having solar most is, because its been such a hot humid summer and we face west, I can use my air conditioner without worrying about the cost. Its such a good feeling!”

“Actually, getting solar panels has been top of my list of things to do for several years, so once I got my finances sorted I thought – now I can book Joe!”

Like most people that go solar, Cathi is learning a lot about how she uses energy from her phone app.  “I’m amazed that my little kettle uses so much energy! The next thing I want to do is replace my ten years old car with a plug-in hybrid, but that might take a little time”.

Sea Solutions installed the following for Cathi:
15 x Jinko Tiger Neo N-type 440W All Black solar panels (6.6 kW)
1 x Solar Edge 6kW Home Hub inverter
Total cost: $9,260 (including rebates).
