At the Electrify Bouddi AGM on 11th December, local resident Sharyn Smith was awarded the inaugural prize for volunteering in front of a packed Hardys Bay Community Club.
“This award is in memory of our great friend and mentor Jo Muller and recognises the critical work done by us all as volunteers,” said Mal McCall, a founder member of Electrify Bouddi.
“Sharyn has put in hours and hours of work over this past year to help raise the profile of Electrify Bouddi at our events, while also being a core member of our website and Awareness Raising teams.”
To reflect the festive spirit, the gathering of 60 members and guests participated in a review of the past year based on a modified version of ‘The Twelve Days of Christmas’ and appointed a new Steering Committee to guide Electrify Bouddi through the next 12 months of events and activities.
Those staying on after the AGM to celebrate the past 12 months included NSW MP Adam Crouch and Central Coast Councillors Jared Wright and Corinne Lamont.
